We’re thrilled to invite you to a special open water swim event at Lake Sonoma on Saturday, September 23rd. Whether you’re seasoned or new to open water swimming, this will be an awesome Saturday workout that you won’t want to miss! 

 

Here are the event details:

 

Date: Saturday, September 23rd

*Note this event will take place instead of the normal Saturday morning Masters workout, so there will be no swim offered at the SRJC on this day 

 

Meeting Time: 8:30 AM

 

Meeting Location: Lake Sonoma Boat Launch Parking Lot

 

Details: Please plan to meet at the Lake Sonoma Boat Launch parking lot at 8:30AM (there will be plenty of space to park). At 8:50AM sharp, we will head from the parking lot and take a short downhill trail leading straight to the lake entrance. We will start the swim at 9:00AM as a group. Please be punctual as we won’t be able to wait for any latecomers. The swim is around 3400-4400y total!

*Note though it is a short walk down the trail to the lake, please wear appropriate shoes.  Anything you take down to the lake with you will be left on the shore in an open area without security during the duration of the swim. That being said, please plan to leave any valuable items in your car and only take essentials down to the lake entrance.
