SRM Results at 2015 Short Course Yards National Championships

Flower Power was represented by 10 of its finest at the USMS Short Course Nationals in San Antonio, Texas held April 23-April 26,2015. Robin Buhlman, John Morales, Sheila Nelson, Ericka Richards, Sean Sullivan, Deb Swain, Brent Bessire and three of his Columbia University swimming buddies (Scott Kitzman, Chris Beach, and Christopher Tessin) placed 27th out the 260 participating teams. Everyone improved their times, but Ericka was the standout with a victory in the 100 Yard Free. Fast times came easily at one of the most beautiful swim complexes in the United States. The complex had an outdoor arena style 50 meter pool where all of the competition was contested. The viewing stands on each side made it easy to watch the incredible swimming. One of the favorite races of the meet was the 30-34 year old 50 Free, which matched Olympic Champions Matt Grevers and Anthony Ervin, with Grevers winning by .01 second. The youngest athlete was l8 years old and the oldest was 98.
