2018 Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championship

held April 6, 2018 – April 8, 2018 at Soda Aquatic Center, Campolino High School, Moraga

Santa Rosa Masters take home a win in the small teams category. The Senior men lead the way with several team record breaking swims.

 

Norman Stupfel, age 85, breaks barriers with his swims every time. Norman created new records for his swims in the 50, 100 and 200 Free and the 50,100 & 200 Breaststroke.

 

David Rust, age 71, swam even faster this year and broke records in the 100 & 200 Breaststroke, the 100 & 200 IM and created a new record for the 400 IM.

 

John Morales, age 60, broke records for the 1000 yard Free, 200 Fly and the 400 IM.

 

The women put forth great efforts too with some personal masters best times for: 

Robin Bulman: 1000 Free, 200 Fly and 200 IM

Sara Jones' 200 Free

Merrie Walts in 50 & 200 Breaststroke

Sheila Nelson's 200 Breaststroke 

Marcela Rueda with her 100 & 200 Back, 50 & 200 Breaststroke and her 200 IM

 

The team picked up major points with newcomer Mark Gordon, Chip Pettibone 2.0 and Todd Wilson.
