2017 Spring National Championships
April 27th-30th, 2017 - Riverside Aquatic Complex, Riverside California
A happy “welcome home” to our Teammates that competed at Spring Nationals.
Five of our finest; Chip Pettibone, Dave Hale, Dick Green, John Morales and Todd Wilson attended and were rewarded with fast times.
Dick Green scored the most points for Santa Rosa, and made a new team record in the 200 yard free. Dick’s time of 2:16.31 over took the previous record of 2:23.26. Congratulations Dick.
Todd Wilson was happy with his swims, especially his 26.08 50 free and 56.37 100 free. Rocket!
Chip Pettibone broke his spanking new 100 breaststroke team record, that he just made at PMS Short Course Champs. Chip broke his own record by more than a second with a 1:10.22. Way to go.
John Morales also broke his own records in both the 50 and 100 yard backstroke, with a 29.6 and a 1:04.07 respectively. Good Job.
Dave Hale set the bar for the mile for Men 60-64 with a 19:40.18. Dave also broke the record for the 400 IM, the oldest record of the bunch as it was made in 2008. Congrats!
Great Job Guys!
